Knocked-Out Adult Tooth: Hold the tooth by the crown, which is the white part, and avoid touching the root. If it appears clean, gently place it back into the socket and bite down on a clean cloth to hold it in position. If you cannot reinsert it, keep the tooth moist in milk or your own saliva and do not allow it to dry out. Arrange emergency dental care immediately.
